high ping and ping spikes on LoL

is RFC1483 the protocol I need to select as my Broadband Medium?
Currently it is set to DSL (PPPoE).

Lag spikes occur considtently, in my situation, when Youtube or Facebook loads (which I suspect is due to https, which appears as unknown protocol)

Issues like this or sudden lag spikes are usually network problems to the game server, so you might be experiencing problems like packet loss. There could be something going on as well but I could use some more information to investigate further. Run a log reader to get an overview of these ping spikes, and let me know the results.

any machine on LAN, including those playing LoL.

Does this happen when FB / YT is used on other machines in the same LAN or on the same machine where you play LoL?

cfos version: 10.22.2290
desktops on lan: Windows 10 32/64bit (mixed) 7 units on LAN 1GB switch
ISP speed: 5Mbits/s DSL

QOS is disabled on router and all PCs on LAN letting cfos, installed on all PCs, to do traffic shaping.

Playing League of Legends:
ping around 30ms - pretty constant when no Facebook or Youtube is used, even if all PCs are playing LoL.
high ping/ping spikes - when someone is browsing FB and/or YT (esp. during loading pages/videos). These are https sites. Also happens during p2p and file downloading (uTorrent, jdownloader, IDM, etc)

cfos settings: following boxes are checked.
Nettalk
Accomodate for ping jitter
RWIN Expansion
Prioritize process in foreground window
Use UPnP Router Statistics
Refresh DNS names
Packet loss avoidance
Automatic MSS (MTU) optimization
Strict RTP checks

Broadband Medium: IP over AAL5 (not sure if correct, having trouble identifying ISP's medium)

Calibration is 100%
